Last March 12, the company started taking pre-orders for the slate-shaped gadget promising to make the delivery on April 3. But sales seem to be very high that the company was forced to delay the shipping for the latest advance orders by more than a week.
Pre-orders made early this month will still get their iPads on April 3.
The iPad, with screen size of 9.7 inches, is the company’s biggest launch since the iPhone in 2007. The lowest price is tagged at $499 while the top of the line version is pegged at $829.
Meanwhile, program developers are in a hype to finish their software products before April 3 as the iPad, from the looks of its sales orders, will bring in customers and lots of purchases.
