This synthetic product, when smoked, will give the user a marijuana-like high. Called K2 or Spice, it is usually marketed as a herbal incense.
Health officials and law enforcement agencies have already raised the alarm on this product. There have also been calls to have K2 banned from the market.
Since health officials have been informed of the existence of K2 in December, there have been incidents where teenagers were rushed to emergency rooms due to palpitations and respiratory concerns.
Side effects of the herbal substance include but is not exclusive to dilated pupils, vomiting, and hallucinations.
